Job DescriptionJohnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Territory Manager for the Basque Country, Cantabria, Navarra and surrounding areas.
Position summary:
Responsible for achieving Surgical Vision product sales to new and established medical and professional accounts to achieve sales objectives and greater market penetration. Creates a territory plan to achieve objectives through sales and servicing of multiple physician and healthcare professional accounts in a prescribed territory. Identifies customer needs and recommends new products to address them. Develops customer and product focused presentation packages for sales.
Follows up with customers to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction. Reporting to local Sales Manager, the TM responsibility is to support strategic customers and Key Accounts (KAs). The TM will be responsible for driving growth in IOLs portfolio through strategic partnerships, market analysis, and new businesses, maximizing our outstanding portfolio of implants and equipment. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, strategical thinking and planning to drive growth in those strategic customers.
Responsibilities
- Define the influence and decision makers mapping to develop and implement tailored business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in key selected customers.
- Present our portfolio and equipment to clients, addressing their specific needs.
- Coordinate with Sales Managers to establish and prioritize development plans in key private customers considering our range of helpful solutions as appropriate.
- Track and report on action plan and sales performance.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on progress against targets and pivotal initiatives.
- Develop and implement business plans targeting accounts in collaboration with Sales Managers and cross‑functional roles.
- Manage inventory, deposits and Cap Ex in compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers.
- Provide input to sales forecast, punctually report field activity and submit constant feedback to management.
- Expand market share and revenue for the anterior segment portfolio with major focus on IOLs.
- Support commercial efforts with other accounts in their region.
- Work closely with internal teams to align strategies and ensure product‑market fit.
- Supervise sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
- Provide comprehensive reports on market conditions, sales performance, and pivotal initiatives to senior management.

Education:
University degree, preferably in Life Sciences is required.
Experience and Skills:
Required – 3 years’ experience, preferably in Ophthalmology. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Validated ability to develop and complete sales plans. Fluent in English.
Preferred – Market Access experience would be an advantage. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Other – Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
