This role emphasizes building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, particularly in hospital settings, and driving sales performance across Spain and Portugal. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Iberian healthcare system and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) through targeted visits and impactful presentations.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and achieve or exceed targets.
- Report sales activities and insights using CRM tools.
- Manage a defined territory, focusing on major university hospitals, specialist networks, and key referral centers.
- Develop and execute a detailed territory plan, identifying top opportunities and high-priority KOLs.
- Provide product training and ongoing education to healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective use.
- Track customer interactions, sales activities, and market intelligence in the CRM system.
- Ensure all promotional activities comply with Spanish and Portuguese regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, particularly in rare diseases, specialty care, or hospital-based products.
- Strong existing relationships with healthcare professionals and hospital stakeholders in Iberia.
- In-depth knowledge of the Iberian healthcare system, including hospital decision-making processes and reimbursement pathways.
- Ability to travel as required to cover the geographical scope of Spain and Portugal.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build long-term partnerships.
