Account Manager Job purposeWe are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Account Manager to join our team in the Health Care sector in Iberia. The successful candidate will support our team of Account Managers in the Iberia Plastics Market (Pharma, veterinary and OTC). This position requires a strong ability to manage the assigned sales budget and solid customer management skills, ensuring that the company maintains its commitment to quality without losing competitiveness.
Accountabilities- Identify and attract new potential clients within the assigned area or sector.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring loyalty and satisfaction.
- Explain the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of the company’s commercial offering.
- Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Ensure the client receives the product or service correctly and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Gather information on trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
- Meet sales, margin, and growth objectives set by the company.
- Ensure that all terms of the contract are clearly defined and protect the company’s interests.
- Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with company objectives.
- Monitor sector‑specific trends and competitor developments, producing strategic reports and recommendations for leadership.
- Represent the company at key industry events, trade fairs, and strategic customer meetings to strengthen visibility and influence.
- Serve as the senior point of escalation for key clients, ensuring operational excellence, service continuity, and rapid issue resolution.
- Environmental responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience (3‑5 Years) in Sales, ideally in pharmaceutical packaging (such as vials and their stoppers), showcasing a solid understanding of sales processes.
- Familiarity with packaging materials, packaging suppliers, and packaging processes. This includes understanding packaging trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong investigative skills, with the ability to research new customers, trends, and market conditions.
- Proficiency with basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) for tracking data, preparing reports, and communicating with teams; experience with Navision ERP & Salesforce.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive attitude, with the drive to continually improve sales processes and contribute positively to the team.
- Background in Chemistry, Health Sciences or related fields is a must.
- Language skills:
English, Italian, French are a must.
