Athletics, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, and Swimming form the mainstay of our focused competitive sports where we have an esteemed record within the local community. Innovation and a dynamic vision are imperative to help ensure the school maintains its sporting edge.
The Physical Education Department is a leading department within the school, producing outstanding results and is blessed with a 4 lane 25m pool, 8‑a‑side astro turf football pitch, 2 full‑size basketball and volleyball courts, along with a 10m climbing wall.
Responsibilities   Liaise closely with the Senior Leadership Team.
Take strategic oversight of Physical Education within the School.
Develop the sport curriculum by maintaining a strong Primary Physical Education timetable.
Oversee the delivery of IGCSE and A-level Physical Education.
Promote engagement and participation in sport, encouraging enjoyment of winning district, regional and national trophies.
Offer extra‑curricular activities and participate in the wider life of the school.
Qualifications   UK qualified teacher with at least 2 years’ of relevant teaching experience.
Required to obtain a certificate from the Child Exploitation & On‑line Protection Centre/ACRO and CRB Enhanced disclosure or ‘Certificado de Penales/Certificado de Delitos de Naturaleza Sexual’ (Spain).
Have full working residency status in Spain with NIE/TIE in place in advance.
