Senior Software Engineer - EY GDS Spain
- Hybrid

The opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Full‑Stack Engineer (Python and Angular) with strong experience building modern web applications and a keen interest in integrating AI capabilities into real-world products. This role combines solid full‑stack engineering with the opportunity to work hands‑on with emerging AI technologies and LLM‑powered features.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Full-Stack Development: 3+ years building end-to-end applications using backend technologies (
  Python
  , Node.js or similar) and modern frontend frameworks (
  Angular
  ).
• AI Integration
  
  Experience:
  
  Practical exposure to integrating AI functionalities—such as LLM APIs
  , embeddings, prompt design, or basic RAG workflows—into applications.
• Backend & API Engineering: Strong experience creating robust REST or GraphQL APIs with
  FastAPI
  , Flask, Node.js, or equivalent frameworks.
• Programming
  
  Skills:
  
  Solid engineering fundamentals, testing strategies, clean code practices,
  Git
  , and CI/CD workflows.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience deploying services on Azure
  , AWS
  , or similar environments.
• AI Framework Familiarity: Experience or familiarity with tools such as Lang Chain, Semantic Kernel, or vector databases to support AI-enhanced features.
• Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively with product, design, and AI teams to deliver impactful features.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Frontend Polish
  :
  Ability to build high‑quality, scalable UIs that integrate seamlessly with AI‑powered backends.
• Deployment & Scalability
  :
  Experience with Kubernetes, or similar environments.
• Monitoring & Observability
  :
  Knowledge of logging, performance monitoring, and reliability best practices.
• Trusted AI Mindset
  :
  Awareness of responsible AI use, including transparency, safety, and user trust.
• Analytical & Product Thinking
  :
  Ability to transform business needs into practical features enhanced by AI capabilities.
