German Speaking Reservations Agent for Singapore Airlines  Mercier Consultancy Group is thrilled to offer a German Speaking Reservations Agent position for Singapore Airlines in Greece. The role involves serving as a vital point of contact for German‑speaking travelers, delivering premium reservations support, travel assistance, and customer service on behalf of Singapore Airlines. The position is based on‑site in Athens, Greece.

Key Responsibilities   Handle inbound reservation enquiries from German‑speaking passengers via phone, e‑mail, and live chat, delivering an exceptional level of customer service in alignment with Singapore Airlines' world‑renowned service standards.
Process flight bookings, amendments, cancellations, and seat upgrades accurately and efficiently using airline reservation systems (GDS/CRS).
Provide detailed and accurate information regarding flight schedules, fare conditions, baggage policies, and special service requests to German‑speaking travellers.
Assist passengers with loyalty programme enquiries, tier upgrades, and Kris Flyer mileage redemptions in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
Coordinate and manage special travel requirements including group bookings, medical assistance requests, and unaccompanied minor services.
Proactively identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities for additional aviation services, including travel insurance, seat upgrades, and ancillary products.
Escalate complex passenger complaints or disrupted travel situations to the appropriate aviation support teams, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolution.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions and reservations activity in accordance with airline data compliance requirements.
Requirements   Native or fluent German language skills (spoken and written) are essential.
Valid EU passport (mandatory for employment eligibility).
Strong passion for the airlines / aviation industry and a genuine commitment to delivering world‑class customer service.
Previous experience in airline reservations, travel consultancy, hospitality, or a customer‑facing role within the aviation sector is highly advantageous.
Proficiency in a Global Distribution System (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is a significant advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle high‑pressure situations calmly and professionally.
Good command of English for internal communication and team collaboration purposes.
