Senior Software Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer at TF Avarda Bank, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and evolving our public-facing websites. These platforms are business-critical and highly visible, sitting at the intersection of engineering, performance, marketing technology, and user experience.

You will work closely with other engineers, designers, and marketing stakeholders, contributing throughout the full development lifecycle and helping to shape technical decisions and best practices.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performing public websites

• Ensure high standards for performance, accessibility, SEO, and security

• Collaborate with marketing teams to support tracking, analytics, and content workflows

• Review code, mentor other engineers, and contribute to technical excellence

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives

• Strong experience developing modern web applications and public websites

• Solid understanding of web fundamentals: performance optimization, SEO, HTTP, cookies, GDPR, and browser behavior

• Proven ability to manage work independently with a structured and organized approach

• Strong experience reasoning about Git commits and environments

• Fluent English, written and spoken

• Strong proficiency in .NET (MVC) and Microsoft solution architecture

• Strong proficiency in Type Script and React
  , including state management and best practices

• Excellent command of JavaScript, HTML, SCSS, and JSON

• Experience with
  CMS development
  , ideally Umbraco CMS and Umbraco Cloud

• Experience with
  Azure Dev Ops (pipelines, releases, build steps, artifacts)

• Familiarity with CI/CD, TDD, SSDLC, and secure coding practices

• Technical support for a marketing team (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, pixel and S2S tracking, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and similar platforms)

• Comfortable using Git via CLI when needed

• Experience with unit and end-to-end testing
