Teacher of Mathematics (KS3–5) – Maternity Cover

A leading British international school in Dubai is seeking an outstanding Mathematics Teacher for a full-time maternity-cover appointment. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 to 5, including GCSE and A Level, and will join a high-achieving, inclusive, and internationally minded learning community.

What You'll Do

Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and inclusive Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.

Teach GCSE and A Level Mathematics with a clear focus on strong examination results and student progress.

Use assessment, feedback, and progress information to adapt teaching and support every learner.

Set high expectations that motivate, support, and challenge students of different backgrounds and abilities.

Contribute positively to department planning, subject initiatives, and the wider development of Mathematics teaching.

Build respectful relationships with students and contribute to their academic, personal, and emotional wellbeing.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school community.

Participate in professional learning and adapt quickly to a fast-paced, multicultural international-school environment.

What We're Looking For

A high-quality degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.

Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

A proven record of outstanding teaching across secondary Mathematics, including GCSE and A Level.

Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver consistently high-quality lessons.

A commitment to inclusive teaching, student wellbeing, and maximising attainment and progress.

Confidence to contribute to subject initiatives and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Excellent communication, organisation, classroom-management, and relationship-building skills.

Willingness to complete all required safeguarding, background, reference, and visa-eligibility checks.
