Luxury Travel Advisor’s ULTRA Wellness Event Introduces Lineup for Inaugural Conference

Questex Travel Group , publisher of Luxury Travel Advisor and organizer of its luxury flagship event,ULTRA Summit, has named thelineup of speakers to lead the first-ever ULTRA Wellness conference. The event will take place May 30 to June 1, 2018 at the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa in Manalapan, FL and will co-locate with the ULTRA Summit .

ULTRA Wellness comes on the heels of the enormous growth of the wellness travel marketplace, currently a $563 billion industry that is expected to reach $808 billion by 2020, according to the Global Wellness Institute.

This event will bring tangible revenue opportunities to the forefront for advisors who influence affluent luxury wellness travelers, and luxury supplier brands who identify as wellness products including hotels, cruise lines, and destinations with wellness programs and itineraries, as well as spas.

The speakers for this event will include renowned names in both spa and wellness, and of course luxury travel. Julie Keller Callahan, editor-in-chief & publisher of American Spa , sister publication to Luxury Travel Advisor, will kick off the event with a state of the industry presentation called the “Wellness Industry Report:
An Overview.” In addition, Katie Briscoe, EVP, global client services for MMGY Global will dive deeper by presenting key findings from the “MMGY Wellness Travel Research Report.”

Additional sessions surrounding wellness and spa at large: “Wellness Travel,” presented by Elizabeth Trattner, physician and founder, Ancient Wisdom for Modern Women; and “Spa Directors Chat Trends & Services,” featuring Catherine Warren, corporate operations director, spa division, WTS International, Agustina Caminos, operations director for spa development, Faena Hotel Miami Beach, and moderated by Callahan.

Ruthanne Terrero, VP, content & editorial director, Luxury Travel Advisor will then guide the program deeper into wellness travel. Carol Dimopoulos, president, Perillo's Learning Journeys will present “Creating a Brand Around the Wellness Niche,” which will be followed by “Selling Wellness to Your Current Client Base,” featuring panelist Alyse Cori, owner, Travelwize and moderated by Terrero.

ULTRA Wellness will combine intimate one-to-one appointments with lively panels, engaging presentations and elegant networking functions including Luxury Travel Advisor’s prestigious Awards of Excellence, which will be held at the iconic Breakers Palm Beach, who are also sponsoring this reception in partnership with Discover the Palm Beaches.
