Overview  Free Motion has a team of around 100 professionals distributed across 12 locations in the Canary Islands. We’re looking for an Accounting Administrator to join our team at our Playa del Inglés (Gran Canaria) offices. This role supports the Finance and Accounting Department by providing accurate, high-quality, and timely financial information and management analysis on costs and key performance indicators in an international, growing environment.
Who are we looking for? We seek a detail-oriented professional with a passion for numbers and data to help ensure our accounts reflect the company’s true financial position, supporting closing, reporting, tax processes, and coordinating the auxiliary accounting team.
Responsibilities   Perform bank reconciliations.
Enter and process invoices (accounts payable / accounts receivable).
Monitor payments from clients and suppliers.
Assist in audits and prepare supporting documentation.
Carry out general administrative and accounting tasks.
Support the finance team in day-to-day operations.
Establish and maintain the company’s financial reporting systems.
Conduct budget analysis and monitor deviations.
Update cash flow reports, analyze variances, and report findings to management.
Review and track financial estimates, identifying improvement opportunities and possible solutions.
Prepare and communicate variance reports in collaboration with the Head of Accounting and Finance.
Requirements   Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Excellent command of Spanish tax and accounting regulations and their main tax obligations.
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Team-oriented, proactive, and responsible approach.
Fluent Spanish and at least a basic level of English required.
