QA engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing on our internal backoffice platform, identifying UI/UX and functional issues.
• Test and validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman (e.g. status codes, payload validation, error handling, authentication, etc.).
• Create, update and maintain test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with developers, product managers and other stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure high-quality deliveries.
• Proactively identify issues, log bugs, and assist in triaging and prioritizing defects.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement within the QA team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience as a QA Tester or in a similar role.
• Experience with testing REST APIs using tools like Postman, conducting UI testing of backoffice/admin panels, and exploratory testing approaches.
• Experience with Jira or similar ticketing/tracking tools.
• Good understanding of QA methodologies, test types, and best practices.
• Knowledge of Oracle DB to validate data and run basic queries.
• Basic knowledge of Selenium and/or JMeter is a plus.
• Good critical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
