About the Position

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with experience in construction projects to join a major data center project. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating civil works activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, project timelines, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

Supervise the execution of civil works activities on-site.

Verify that work is executed according to plans, technical specifications, and quality standards.

Coordinate and supervise civil works contractors and subcontractors.

Monitor the construction schedule and report project progress.

Supervise activities related to:

Earthworks.

Foundations.

Concrete and steel structures.

Architectural work and finishes.

Review construction drawings and resolve technical questions during execution.

Coordinate quality inspections and ensure compliance with specifications.

Manage daily reports, progress reports, and work documentation.

Coordinate activities with the MEP, QA/QC, HSE, and Project Management disciplines.

Identify risks and deviations and propose solutions to maintain schedule adherence.

Participate in follow-up meetings with the client and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

Civil Engineering degree (Degree and professional license preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience supervising construction projects.

Experience in industrial projects, critical infrastructure, industrial plants, commercial buildings, or data centers.

Experience coordinating contractors and supervising on-site construction.

Knowledge of structural and architectural drawing interpretation.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera P6 (desirable).

Knowledge of quality control processes in construction.

Basic English.

Availability to relocate to San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.
