What we look for:
We are seeking Gaming Content Moderators to oversee discussion board content within a well-known online video game. This role will be instrumental in catching sensitive, inappropriate and/or lewd content, threats, violence and/or any other content prohibited by the game. The ideal candidates have prior experience being exposed to highly graphic content.
Responsibilities:
Review content to determine community guidelines are met while upholding a high standard of accuracy and quality
Content moderation types include Image, Text, Video, Audio, and 3D experiences
Maintain a high level of compliance and confidentiality standards
Frequently review training material to remain current and knowledgeable on workflow changes, operational guidelines, and policy updates
Comply with the performance indicators or parameters defined by operational goals
Review sensitive content including the reporting and handling of inappropriate material

Qualifications:

Ability to handle large amounts of user generated content
Ability to deal with sensitive situations and malicious content online
Ability to be objective instead of subjective
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
Critical thinking and investigative skills
Ability to quickly adapt and adjust priorities as new projects and processes come online
Strong written and verbal communication
Computer skills including comprehensive experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and slide deck software (ideally in Google Workspace)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Trust and Safety field (Or equivalent experience in Moderation or Support)
Knowledge of the gaming industry, social media industry, or any combination thereof
Understanding of social media content creation and the impacts it can have
Stays up to date with online trends and popular culture
While no specific degree is required, degrees related to psychology, communications, or investigations have been found to be helpful
