We have an opportunity for a Supply Engineer to join our team in Guadalupe, NL. This position is responsible for managing company’s supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity. In addition they play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors.

You Will
Lead the development and execution of company sourcing strategies for assigned categories to deliver cost savings, innovation, and supplier value.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance standards are met and fostering long-term partnerships.
Drive negotiations for strategic supplier contracts, focusing on cost optimization, quality, delivery performance, and risk management.
Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and geopolitical factors.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies with corporate goals.
Drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and commodity trends to identify opportunities for improvement and competitive advantage.
Monitoring supplier performance, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Qualifications
~ Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
~3-5+ years’ experience in supply chain related position.
~ Advanced English + 80% of communication in English.
~ Ability to develop, lead, and manage supply chain strategy and supply base.
~ Negotiation skills.
~ Proven ability to scope and create projects to reduce cost, improve productivity, reduce supplier risk, and increase capacity.
~ Collaborative approach to communication and problem-solving.
~ Teamwork passion.
~ Preferable knowledge on molding processes.
