The Technical Construction Expert – Mexico provides senior-level technical expertise for construction activities supporting the WIFA project in Mexico and cross-border infrastructure interfaces. The role ensures construction methodologies, sequencing, and execution strategies are aligned with engineering requirements, regulatory conditions, and safety standards.
This position works closely with project leadership, technical experts, construction teams, and multidisciplinary engineers to support feasibility efforts, early works, and construction planning for treatment facilities, conveyance systems, intake/discharge infrastructure, pumping stations, and other Mexico-based project scopes.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Construction Leadership:
Lead constructability reviews, execution strategies, and construction methodologies for Mexico-based project scopes.
Design & Constructability Coordination:
Review designs, specifications, sequencing plans, and work packages to ensure efficient and compliant construction solutions.
Construction Support & Field Engineering:
Support construction teams by resolving technical issues, RFIs, design clarifications, and installation challenges.
Cross-Border & Regulatory Coordination:
Ensure alignment between Mexico-based construction activities and project, permitting, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Quality, Safety & Performance:
Promote compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards while supporting QA/QC reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure, water, or industrial construction projects
Strong background supporting construction activities in Mexico

Experience with conveyance systems, pumping stations, treatment facilities, or cross-border infrastructure preferred
Fluent in English and Spanish
Strong technical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
