Automation Engineer

Location: Ciudad Nezahualcoyotl

Job Summary   We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in C#, Selenium, and automation framework development. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Banking/Financial Services environments and a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation best practices, and Agile delivery models.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks while ensuring high product quality across enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using C# and Selenium Web Driver.
Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand business requirements and testing needs.
Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Develop reusable automation utilities and improve testing efficiency.
Validate application functionality in Banking/Financial Services domain applications.
Perform API testing using tools/frameworks such as Postman or REST-based automation.
Work with CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into deployment workflows.
Prepare test reports, execution summaries, and quality metrics.

Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
Strong hands-on experience with:
C#
Selenium Web Driver
Automation Framework Development
Strong understanding of:
Test automation best practices
OOP concepts
SDLC/STLC

Experience with Banking, Financial Services, or BFSI domain projects.
Experience in API testing using Postman, REST APIs, or similar tools.
Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong debugging and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Dev Ops.
Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Spec Flow.

Experience with Git/version control systems.
Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Nice to Have
Banking application testing experience.

Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
Certifications in QA/testing methodologies are a plus.
