You’ll Support Meaningful Work By:

- Developing plans, applications, and design work based on project needs and providing creative input
- Creating relevant and on-brand design solutions that represent concepts and ideas aligned with the Steelcase portfolio
- Collaborating with internal teams such as product marketing, communications, and visualization to support varied projects
- Translating research insights into conceptual designs and applications for marketing initiatives
- Consulting on internal projects and initiatives to provide design expertise and recommendations
- Planning space layouts and conceptual designs while incorporating knowledge of materials and finishes

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- 2–4 years of professional experience developing design proposals, working with materiality, and creating conceptual layouts
- Fluent in spoken and written English at a professional level
- Ability to translate client needs into meaningful applications, design concepts, and presentations following established templates
- Experience collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve design needs
- Knowledge and/or experience with materials (fabrics, paints, architectural finishes)
- Experience modeling simple architectural elements in Sketch Up
- Portfolio showcasing relevant design work

Desired Skills And Experience

- Familiarity with Enscape and Veritas
- Knowledge of the global Steelcase portfolio
- Proficiency in pCon, Sketch Up, PowerPoint, and Miro
- Experience translating research into design concepts
- Knowledge of generative AI tools
- Mentoring experience
- Previous experience working in an architecture or interior design firm
