Architectural Studio Director

Habitat Architectural Studio is looking for a bilingual Architectural Studio Director to lead, structure, and scale our architectural practice.

This role is for a senior architectural leader who has already led teams inside an architecture studio, firm, or design-build organization.

We are not looking for someone who only manages tasks.
We are not looking for only a strong designer.
We are looking for a studio leader who can bring structure, standards, clarity, and accountability.

The right person understands how to turn design vision into a scalable studio operation.

Key Focus Areas:

* Leading architectural teams

* Improving studio operations

* Managing multiple projects at once

* Design and documentation standards

* QA/QC and project delivery

* Resource planning and team development

* BIM and workflow improvement

* Collaboration with executive leadership

* Building systems, not just completing projects

Ideal Candidate:

* Minimum 5 years of professional architecture experience required; 10+ years preferred for senior leadership consideration.

* Bilingual:
English and Spanish

* Experience leading architects, project managers, and production teams

* Strong understanding of studio operations and project delivery

* Ability to create structure, standards, and accountability

* Comfortable working with leadership on growth and operational strategy

* Available to work on-site in Tecate, Baja California
