Plant Manager
Industry: Food & Beverage / High-Performance Manufacturing
We are conducting a recruitment process for a experienced Plant Manager to lead the operations of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a senior operations leader with strong experience in large-scale food & beverage production, high-performance plant management, and technical expertise.
About the Role
The Plant Manager will be responsible for the integrated, efficient and safe operation of the facility, ensuring full compliance with production plans, cost targets, quality and food safety standards, environmental sustainability, and people development. This leader will drive operational strategy, continuous improvement, innovation, and a high-performance culture across all functions within the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end plant operations to deliver productivity, service, and cost objectives.
- Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and regulatory standards (GFSI, HACCP, ISO programs, etc.).
- Manage core operational KPIs including efficiency, yield, waste, productivity, energy consumption, and operational costs.
- Oversee maintenance reliability programs (preventive, predictive, corrective) for all critical assets.
- Lead engineering and expansion initiatives, including new equipment installation and technology deployment.
- Champion safety culture and compliance in occupational health, industrial safety, and environmental programs.
- Direct internal supply chain activities: warehousing, inventory control, and in-plant logistics.
- Strengthen systems of continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen).
- Manage operating and capital budgets (OPEX & CAPEX).
- Promote and support corporate sustainability initiatives.
- Develop plant culture, leadership capabilities, and talent succession pipelines.
- Align cross-functional teams with business strategy and performance objectives.
- Represent the facility to corporate leadership, external stakeholders, and local authorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Food Engineering, or related field.
- ~15 years of experience in manufacturing, including at least 5 years leading complex operations or full-plant leadership.
- Strong knowledge of food & beverage manufacturing processes.
- Advanced capability in operational and financial KPIs.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and/or Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt desirable).
- Experience managing quality, safety, and sustainability systems and certifications.
- Proficiency with SAP (preferred), Microsoft Office, and data visualization tools.
- Fully bilingual:
English & Spanish.
