Join an industry-leading organization in the fintech and payments space as a key member of the Mergers & Acquisitions team. This is a rare opportunity for a highly motivated and intellectually curious professional to gain hands-on experience supporting large, complex, and transformative M&A transactions within a global organization.
The ideal candidate is driven, detail-oriented, and eager to take ownership of challenging projects while developing deep exposure to corporate development, strategy, and transaction execution.
Responsibilities
Evaluate potential acquisition opportunities and business cases from strategic, operational, and financial perspectives
Own and lead specific aspects of acquisitions, including day-to-day execution and oversight of ongoing processes, ensuring deadlines are met
Coordinate and work closely with cross-functional teams to support acquisition evaluation and due diligence
Lead the development of financial models, valuation analyses, and strategic assessments to inform acquisition decisions
Support the prioritization of strategic objectives and assess acquisition opportunities against those objectives
Minimum Qualifications & Skillsets
Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely convey complex topics
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams and deadlines
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, whether leading, supporting, or coordinating efforts
High attention to detail and strong discipline in execution
Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new industries, business models, and technologies
Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and accountability
Fluency in English & Spanish
Additional Experience (Preferred)
2–3 years of experience in auditing
2+ years of experience in mergers & acquisitions or corporate development
Strong financial analysis and modelling experience
Experience with in fintech, payments, or financial services environments
Hands-on experience conducting due diligence
Experience learning and implementing new tools, systems, or technologies
