Are you an experienced   Bilingual Accountant   looking for a role that goes beyond transactional accounting? Do you want to take on key decision-making that directly impacts a   US-based operation  ?

We are seeking a highly qualified   Accountant   to join our Controlling team. This is a critical position focused on ensuring financial compliance, managing risk, driving strategic modeling, and overseeing projects. It is absolutely essential to be 100% Bilingual (English/Spanish)  . You will be required to speak   English 100% of the day   with our MX &US teams, Auditors, CPAs, and banking contacts.

You will assume a decisive role, addressing complex problems that require you to use   judgment and creativity to create recommendations   .

Key responsibilities include:

IFRS Compliance Leadership:
Responsible for maintaining financial procedures, preparing reports, and ensuring   IFRS rule compliance   and balancing the ledger for regular reports.
Financial Strategy & Modeling:
Manage the   creation, updating, and maintenance of financial models and business cases   , using a   Financial Approach   to understand and improve business results.
Risk Control and Audit:
Identify and   minimize risks   by processing monthly reviews of bank, credit card, and intercompany accounts. You will also audit account books for efficiency and accuracy.
Full Accounting Cycle Ownership:
Total responsibility for the   General Ledger   , the   month-end closing process   ,   Asset Management   , and supervising   yearly inventories   .
Cross-Functional Support:
Act as a   backup in the Controlling area   and provide total support to the Accounts Payable team.

Requirements

We are looking for a leader with a proven ability to   handle multiple projects simultaneously   and a deep   passion for getting results   .

Experience:

5 years   of proven accounting experience.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Technology:
Expert proficiency in   SAP   ,   Excel   , and   Google Workspace   .
Travel Requirement:
Must hold a   current Visa and Passport   with availability to   travel to the USA at least 3 times a year   .
