Location: Santiago de Querétaro

We are CCL Industries.
CCL Industries is a leading Canadian-American corporation in the specialty packaging and labeling sector, seeking a Regional Tax Manager for Mexico.

Purpose of the position:
Responsible for coordinating and overseeing tax matters related to the operations of multiple companies within the CCL Group that operate in Mexico for corporate reporting purposes, with the aim of improving financial results.

Location   :
Querétaro Industrial Park + 1 or 2 monthly trips to various plants (Mexico City, San Luis Potosí, Guanajuato, Michoacán, Guadalajara, and Tijuana)

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; master’s degree in tax/finance or specialized training in taxation is a plus.
Approximately 15 years of experience in a tax role, preferably within the manufacturing-industrial sector.
Approximately 5 years in a manager role in the tax area.
Preferably Big Four experience as Tax Manager or Tax Senior (EY, Deloitte, KPGM, PwC)

Task Overview:
Ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting in the tax package on monthly, quarter and anually basis.
Coordinate with controllers and tax advisors to ensure the correct interpretation of legislation.
Manage relationships with tax authorities and auditors, following up on SAT audits
Handle multiple Business Names/locations in a standarized way
Lead the annual tax strategy for affiliated companies in Mexico.
Act as a tax expert, updating policies and processes in accordance with regulatory changes.
