Mexico Technical Service Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for off-grid, grid-tied and energy storage solar systems via phone, instant messages and emails. Manage Mexico after-sales cases and follow up unresolved tickets from distributor customers.
Hold regular communication meetings with distributors to maintain close cooperation, prepare meeting minutes and track all pending follow-up items.
Assist daily operations of local Latin America warehouse as required.
Offer remote technical support to Mexican distributors and installers, and deliver on-site support when necessary.
Carry out inverter fault diagnosis and troubleshooting, sort out after-sales service data.
Guide installers through installation, monitoring and later operation & maintenance of residential photovoltaic power stations.
Provide technical promotion support for the sales team.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or related disciplines are preferred.
Possess photovoltaic industry working experience with solid understanding of the basic working principles of inverters.
Have practical experience in inverter-related work including inverter commissioning & installation, daily maintenance and fault troubleshooting; candidates with experience on Growatt inverters will be prioritized.
Familiar with inverter commissioning and installation standards, proficient in mainstream office software, with basic electrician knowledge including familiarity with different grid types and the ability to operate multimeters.
English serves as the daily working language for all written and verbal communications.
Be willing to work full-time on-site in Mexico City.
Proactive and responsible, with strong communication skills and teamwork awareness; able to efficiently complete project targets and ensure high customer satisfaction.
