Development​/Expansion Manager CALA Region

Location: Cozumel

A leading international hospitality company is seeking to appoint an Expansion Manager for the Caribbean region to support the launch and growth of a new business line focused on hotel management and franchise opportunities with international brands across one of the world’s most dynamic tourism markets.

Based in the Caribbean or the Americas, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with hotel owners, hotel groups, family offices, investment funds, developers, and specialized consultants, identifying opportunities to expand the company’s presence through management and franchise agreements with international brands across key Caribbean markets.

We are looking for a business development-oriented professional with strong negotiation skills, strategic vision, and in-depth knowledge of the international hospitality and tourism industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate hotel expansion opportunities across the Caribbean region.
- Develop and maintain relationships with hotel owners, investors, family offices, hotel groups, developers, and specialized real estate consultants.
- Assess the commercial, financial, and strategic feasibility of new projects.
- Lead the full transaction process from opportunity sourcing to deal execution and closing, including the negotiation of management and franchise agreements with international brands.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate due diligence processes with internal teams and external advisors.
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, Legal, Technical Services, and Commercial teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade fairs, and international hospitality investment forums.
- Prepare progress reports and presentations for senior management.

What We Are Looking For

- University degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Economics, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hotel expansion, development, investment, or asset management within the hospitality sector.
- Knowledge of the Caribbean and/or Latin American hotel markets will be highly valued.
- Experience negotiating with hotel owners, hotel groups, investment funds, family offices, and developers.
- Strong ability to originate business opportunities and build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Solid analytical and financial skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent English is essential; additional languages will be considered an advantage.
- Current residence in the Caribbean or the Americas, or willingness to relocate to the region.
- Willingness to travel frequently throughout the Caribbean and the Americas.
- Previous experience in contract negotiation and closure with leading international franchise brands is highly valued.
