Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled  Automation Engineer  to design, develop, and support automation systems that improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and reliability. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting automation equipment, and integrating control systems in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot  PLC programs  (Allen-Bradley / Siemens / others).
Support installation, commissioning, and validation of automation equipment.
Diagnose and resolve automation and control system issues in real time.
Design and implement  HMI/SCADA screens  , logic updates, and system improvements.
Create and update documentation: electrical drawings, control logic, IO maps, and SOPs.
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and process engineering teams to improve system performance.
Ensure safety compliance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform preventive maintenance and optimize machine cycle times.
Required Skills & Experience
~ Bachelor’s degree in  Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics  , or related field.
~2–7+ years of experience in industrial automation or controls.
~ Strong knowledge of  PLC programming  (RSLogix/Studio 5000, TIA Portal, etc.).
~

Experience with  robotics, sensors, vision systems, VFDs  , and networked control systems.
~ Ability to read and interpret  electrical schematics  and engineering drawings.
~ Troubleshooting expertise in automated manufacturing systems.
~ Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Experience with FANUC / ABB / KUKA robots.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0, MES, or data acquisition systems.
Understanding of safety circuits, risk assessments, and safety PLCs.
Familiar with automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments.
