This Position reports to:
Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this position, you will provide support to engineers responsible for converting customer orders into precise drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) that fully comply with customer specifications, under the direction of an Engineering Manager. The Associate Project Engineer role is integral to ensuring the successful design, development, and delivery of ABB’s products.

This role is contributing to the  E   lectrification  Distribution Solutions Division  in  San Luis Potosi .

You will be mainly accountable for:
Creating electrical devices in parts databases.

Creating electrical engineering symbols.

Creating simplified 3D models of electrical devices.

Standardizating database and libraries

Assisting engineers in database/libraries issues.

Qualifications for the role
Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or Control/Automation Engineering.

1+ Years of Experience in drawing reading and interpretation in AutoCAD or similar software.

Basic knowledge of Medium or Low Voltage MCC and/or Switchgear (desirable).

Knowledge of Excel (Dynamic table), (EPLAN and PTC Windchill basic knowledge desirable).

Advanced English required.
