Design Engineer

Location: Ciénega de Flores

Position Summary
Will be responsible for exploring, developing and delivering innovative solutions in alignment with the Product Delivery strategic direction and operational priorities. He/She will contribute to the next generation systems by developing functional solutions to provide safe and effective products. The Design Engineer II will support to solve complex problems and, in the specification, design, and test for the next generation product platform.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting the overall design and engineering aspect of projects related to NPD
Provide technical support design engineers and other technical personnel.
Generate and leverage existing and new technical information or regulations related to the design and manufacturing of the product or component.
Communicate key information and recommendations to influence technical decisions and strategy.
Define new and existing engineering design requirements and develop specifications in accordance with manufacturing, marketing, and customer expectations and requirements.
Identify and analyze design problems to achieve optimal solutions that satisfy cost and technical requirements using both internal and external technical resources. Formulate new, innovative approaches to solve technical problems on a consistent basis.
Engage in personal and continuing program of learning to broaden knowledge in mechanical, thermodynamics and electrical engineering and to gain knowledge in new fields of general engineering to improve individual effectiveness and to avoid technical obsolescence.

Requirements:

BS degree(s) in Engineering.
Master’s degree is a PLUS
+3 years’ experience mechanical refrigeration components, implementation, validations and related applications
Verifiable experience in Mechanical (must)
Verifiable experience in Thermodynamics and Electrical design (desirable)
Familiarity with CAD and ERP systems
Excellent communication skills, oral & written.
Good understanding of the English language.
Strong analytical skills.
