We are seeking a Launch Engineer to support manufacturing operations and lead successful launches of automotive and industrial components. This role is responsible for managing project timelines, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and ensuring all deliverables meet customer, quality, and business requirements. The engineer will also support transfer projects— including seat motors, brake booster BLDC systems, and future product lines. This is a replacement role with urgent hiring needs.
About the Role
We are looking for a Launch Engineer to support manufacturing operations and lead successful launches of automotive and industrial components.
Responsibilities
Create and manage project timelines through safe launch.
Support Project Managers with assigned launch activities.
Prepare APQP documentation and track deliverables with cross‑functional teams.
Coordinate with internal groups and customers to ensure timelines, budgets, and requirements are met.
Monitor machine utilization and identify needs for new equipment purchases.
Lead production line transfers from other sites
Support BOM creation and assist in product P&L evaluations.
Participate in meetings, prepare minutes, and ensure completion of action items.
Ensure compliance with SGC, SGA, CSR, and applicable legal requirements.
Must be fully onsite.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Automotive, Electrical) preferred
Proficient in spoken and written English.
3–4 years of experience in project or launch management.
Experience in operations related to injection molding or metal stamping.
Familiarity with automotive project planning and PPAP standards.
Knowledge of APQP processes and BOM evaluation.
Strong time‑management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred
Skills:
Experience with quality and environmental systems (SGC, SGA, CSR).
Previous experience supporting automotive transfer projects.
