The role:

We are looking for   PPC Engineers   , who will be the main liaison with the Client for the integrations of our SCADA Monitoring and Control System: a complete suite of solutions for the management of large volumes of information from renewable energy plants.

You will be the main point of contact with the customer for the integrations of our SCADA Monitoring and Control System, a complete set of solutions for the management of large volumes of information from renewable energy plants, designed for RE owners, operators, technicians and consultants.

Academic background:

Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control, Energy, Industrial Engineering or similar.
Master's degree in renewable energy, electrical power systems or automation would be an advantage.

Professional experience:

Experience (2–5 years or more, depending on seniority) in renewable energy plant projects (solar, wind, hybrid, storage).
Knowledge of plant control systems (PPC) and/or SCADA.
Experience in commissioning, integration and validation of control equipment in grid-connected power plants.

Technical knowledge:

Grid code compliance regulations and requirements in different markets.
Industrial communication protocols (IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus, OPC UA, DNP3, IEC 61850).
Real-time control of active power, reactive power, frequency and voltage.
System integration with grid control platforms, transmission system operators (TSO/DSO).
Modelling and simulation of electrical systems (PSSE, DigSILENT Power Factory, Matlab/Simulink, PSCAD, etc.).
Knowledge of electrical protection and its coordination with PPC.
