System Test Tools Developer

Location: Santiago de Querétaro

Are you a hands-on engineer who loves blending hardware and software to build cutting-edge testing solutions? We are looking for a  Test Tools Developer/Integrator  to design, bring up, debug, and optimize automated test benches that validate complex product features for global automotive leaders.

️ The Test Tools You Will Support & Build
System Validation Benches :
Closed-loop HIL, re-injection HIL, system integration, Calibration, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Testing (CI/CT) Benches
Environmental & Compliance Testing : DV/PV/EMC test benches
Vehicle Systems :
Rest-bus simulations, vehicle recording systems, vehicle fit-outs, and ground truth reference systems
Virtual Validation :
Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and virtual sensor models
Data Acquisition :
Various injection and acquisition tools to collect test data, alongside custom software development for all systems

Key Responsibilities
Analyze & Desig n:
Review test automation requirements from System Validation, Mechatronic, and SW Test teams, and brainstorm with the global TIAT team to design a standardized architecture
HW/SW Integratio n:
Manage hardware procurement, inventory control, and complete hands-on hardware/software integration of test setup
⏱ ️ Planning & Estimatio n:
Create basic L3 timing plans for automation coverage readiness and provide reliable development effort and cost estimations
Project Trackin g:
Keep stakeholders updated on development stages or blockers, and work with the TIAT Team Lead to prioritize requests
✅ Quality & Deploymen t:
Validate and test the automation solutions thoroughly before release, create comprehensive technical documentation, and back up source code using SVN standard
On-Site Suppor t:
Coordinate logistics/shipments of equipment across sites and support the deployment of benches at our Troy location and off-site customer locations as needed

Mandatory Technical Skills
NI Ecosyst em: HIGH, proven development experience  in LabV IEW a nd Test St and
Programmi ng: HIGH, proven proficiency wi th Python, C++, and CAPL
Protocols & Networki ng:
Deep experience with automotive protocol s (CAN, Automotive Ethernet,  LIN) and standard networkin g (Ethernet, TCP/IP, Switc hes)
Audio Networki ng:
Experience wi th A2B and Analog Audio
Test Desi gn:
Proven experience in the design and development of end-to-end  Testing Solutions
Specialization Tracks (We are looking for candidates matching either profile)
Profile A (Vision Focu s):
Strong expertise  in Image Processing, Video Pipelines, or  ISP (Image Signal Processing). — OR —   Profile B (Audio Focu s):
Strong expertise  in A2B (Automotive Audio Bus) & Analog Au dio
