Industrial Engineering Man

Location: Santiago de Querétaro

This position Lead and coordinate  continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes from the design phase  , applying  Lean Manufacturing principles and new technologies  , ensuring optimal use of resources (layout, headcount, equipment) while meeting  ergonomics, safety, quality, and cost standards  .

Responsibilities
Design and maintain the design of the manufacturing system in each of its worksheets (Takt time, Time study, Machine capacity, Mixed model) with a Lean Manufacturing approach and ensuring the optimization of resources.
Calculate standard hours in ECR (Cost Request), costs associated with material handling and equipment relocation cost (if applicable)
Lead and/or elaborate Cost Request for machinery and equipment cost and calculation of standard hours. Design: plant layout, cell layout and standard layout, and communicate the process flow to your ENT, based on Lean Manufacturing principles
Participate in the design of the Sequence chart. Prepare the process capacity analysis Design and implement material handling, performing these within ergonomic limits and Lean principles

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or similar
More than 7 years of engineering experience

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5 s´
Advance English

Experience
Manage of Lean Manufacturing
Project administration
Budget Management
Documentation.
Lay-out designs.
Software (AutoCAD).
Knowledge of IATF-16949, ISO 14000, OSHA & Core Tools.
