VAVE Engineer

Location: Ciénega de Flores

A VAVE Engineer, Develop, lead and implement cost-saving initiatives by analyzing products and manufacturing processes to identify reduction opportunities while maintaining quality, safety, and performance. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams inside the company & with suppliers, to implement improvements, track savings, and support continuous improvement projects.
Responsibilities:

• Identify and analyze cost reduction opportunities for products and manufacturing processes.

• Support value engineering and cost optimization projects.

• Collect, analyze, and report cost and savings data.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams.

• Participate in design reviews to identify cost improvement opportunities.

• Assist with supplier cost reduction and sourcing activities.

• Monitor project progress and ensure savings targets are achieved.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.

• Ensure all cost reduction activities maintain product quality, safety, and compliance.

• Perform other engineering-related tasks as assigned.

• 3D models, assemblies and drawings to create proposals.

• Develop engineer solutions with cost and manufacturing optimization.

• Coordinate a cross functional team involved in the implementation of the proposal.

• Capable of learning different database software and system tools to make more efficient activities.

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree(s) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Electrical, Mechatronics or any similar career.

• Experience using software tools design.

• Experience as intern developing and creating 3D models preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, oral & written.

• Advanced English Preferred.

• Project experience Preferred
