Test & Automation Engineer

Job Description   The employee is part of EU/NA HUB. His role is to support and lead the New Product Launches considering time, costs contraints without quality compromise.
Assure the specifcation, order and installation of production equipments.
Ensure the targeted process capability for manufacturing processes.
Reaching the required technical availability and process quality on the equipment, lines under his responsibility.
Cooperate with global IE and central functions to keep an high level of software, hardware, automation and test methods standardization.

Qualifications   Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Electronic, Automation or similar
Advanced English

Experience:

3 years in automotive industry ir related field

Knowledge:
In at least one automation programming environment and language (Siemens Tia portal or Beckhoff TwinCAT2 or
3).
In several (2 to
3) industrial and automotive bus communication (Ether Net, Profi Net, EtherCAT, CAN, CAN-FD, FxR, [...]).
One high level programming language (preferably .Net c#), good understanding for object oriented programming.
of manufacturing technology, manufacturing processes for the automotive industry, IT manufacturing environment and cyber security.
Quality evaluation of test systems (GRR, MSA).
IATF / VDA requieremments

Skills:

Logical thinking
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems by logical analysis
Ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical processes in industrial environment
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
Drafting and reporting skills (Ability to create a documentation, workflow. Ability to verbally explain complex topics to technical and non-technical persons)
