SUMMARY:

Work in the Administration and Control area, verifying quotes, analysing, negotiating and selecting suppliers; negotiating requests for price increases and changes in conditions; negotiating logistics models to minimise costs; supporting product development meetings; ensuring the accuracy of purchase orders and performing other duties related to the position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Verify quotes, analysis, negotiation, and selection of suppliers.

- Negotiate price increases and changes in conditions.

- Negotiate logistics models to reduce inventory and transport.

- Participate in product development meetings.

- Ensure accuracy in purchase orders and requests.

- Follow up on new product development.

- Organise visits to suppliers.

- Contact current and new suppliers.

- Ensure correct deliveries and renegotiate when necessary.

- Analyse the suitability and competitiveness of suppliers.

- Ensure price monitoring.

- Negotiate returns and replacements.

- Keep up to date with markets and publications.

- Exercise technical leadership of the team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

ACADEMIC

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum:
Bachelor's degree.

- Desirable:
Postgraduate degree.

EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum: 5 years.

- Desirable: 7 years.
