Scope & Role purpose
Regional scope with global exposure . The Global Talent Acquisition Lead will serve as the strategic and operational owner of talent acquisition delivery across the region, based in Mexico and closely aligned with global HR leadership.
Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be based in Mexico and will play a critical role in leading and coordinating end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple countries. This role acts as the regional operational lead for talent acquisition, ensuring consistent, high-quality hiring practices while adapting to local market dynamics. This role goes beyond execution: it is designed for a TA professional who can anticipate future talent needs, modernize recruitment approaches, and drive consistency, quality, and innovation across markets.
The role partners with senior business leaders to ensure talent decisions directly enable growth, innovation, and organizational readiness
Key Responsibilities .
- Lead and govern end-to-end talent acquisition strategies and execution across multiple countries in LA.
- Act as the regional TA authority, ensuring alignment with global frameworks while adapting to local regulatory and labor market realities.
- Translate business strategy, workforce plans, and capability gaps into forward-looking hiring priorities.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and leadership teams on workforce planning, succession gaps, and future capability needs.
- Identify critical roles and emerging skill sets (e.g., digital, data, AI, advanced commercial, medical innovation).
- Build scalable talent pipelines for high-impact and hard-to-hire positions.
- Leverage digital sourcing strategies, TA technologies, and analytics to improve speed, quality, and diversity of hires.
- Use recruitment data to drive insights on time-to-fill, quality of hire, candidate conversion, and market competitiveness.
- Explore and apply AI-enabled tools responsibly for sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and hiring managers across functions and geographies..
- Lead complex, senior-level and mission-critical searches personally when required.
- Strengthen the employer value proposition across markets in partnership with HR and engagement initiatives.
- Ensure a consistent, inclusive, and high-quality candidate experience aligned with global standards.
- Represent the company in external talent communities, industry forums, and professional networks.
- Establish and monitor recruitment governance, service levels, and cost effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to modernize TA practices across the region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field;
Master’s degree preferred.
- 8–12+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with strong exposure to multinational, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or similarly complex industries.
- Demonstrated experience leading regional or multi-country recruitment strategies.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (required);
Portuguese is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in matrixed, fast-paced, and highly regulated environments.
