Job Summary
The HR Specialist provides operational Human Resources support with primary responsibility for the administration of employee benefits programs and related HR services. Ensures the effective delivery of benefits, compensation, employee services, wellness initiatives, and HR operational processes while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Supports the Compensation & Benefits Supervisor in the administration of total rewards programs and partners with HR Business Partners to execute tactical Human Resources activities throughout the employee lifecycle. Serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers, delivering high-quality service, process excellence, and an enhanced employee experience.

The Role
- Benefits Administration and Employee Programs - Administers and coordinates the Company's employee benefits programs, including medical insurance, retirement plans, savings fund, and other employee benefit offerings. Serves as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding eligibility, enrollment, claims, and program administration. Maintains accurate benefit records, performs insurance reconciliations, coordinates executive mobile phone benefits, and manages relationships with benefit providers and brokers.
Identifies, negotiates, and administers employee discount programs and vendor partnerships that enhance the overall employee value proposition while ensuring compliance with company policies and benefit plan requirements.
- Compensation Administration - Supports compensation programs by preparing salary recommendations for operational and specialist-level positions based on internal equity, market competitiveness, and established compensation guidelines. Participates in compensation and benefits surveys conducted by external consulting firms and maintains compensation-related data and documentation. Calculates and administers incentive programs for designated employee populations and ensures accurate maintenance of job descriptions, evaluations, and compensation information within designated compensation management systems.
Calculate quarterly bonus.
- HR Operations and HRBP Support - Provides operational support to HR Business Partners through the execution of employee lifecycle processes and day-to-day HR activities. Supports employee onboarding and voluntary offboarding processes, including preparation of employment documents, collection of approvals and signatures, and administration of exit interviews and surveys. Processes employee transactions within HR systems, including hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, and employee data updates.
- Talent Acquisition - Coordinates and executes full-cycle recruitment activities for administrative and professional positions.
- Vendor Management and HR Administration - Coordinates administrative activities associated with HR vendors and service providers, including supplier onboarding, contract management, compliance documentation, purchase requisitions, and payment processing activities. Partners with Finance, Procurement, Tax, and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely payment execution while maintaining appropriate records and supporting documentation.
- Wellness Programs and Employee Experience - Coordinates wellness, health, and employee experience initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and well-being. Administers wellness services and programs, including health campaigns, sports and fitness initiatives, annual health-related events, vaccination campaigns, and employee convenience services.
Skills & Experience
Experience:
5+ years in HR (compensation & benefits, HRBP, talent acquisition)
Education:
Bachelor/University - Business administration, Psychology or related fields or equivalent applicable experience
Language:
Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English.
Additional Skills & Abilities
- Requires knowledge and understanding of business and human resources principles and a working knowledge of the theories and principles of compensation, benefits, labor cost and budgeting processes.
- Must be able to build capabilities in groups and/or specific individuals in core subject matter expertise such as compensation strategies, benefits strategies, etc.
- Relationships with internal clients and external vendors (Willis Towers Watson, Mercer, Korn Ferry, Insurance brokers, etc.)
- Advanced MS Office package knowledge is a must (specially in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
- Knowledge of Mexican labor laws that regulates employee compensation and benefits
- Analytical skills to understand and apply research and statistics in report writing and decision making.
- Knowledge of Compensation and benefits practices and methodologies (Willis Tower Watson, Mercer, Korn Ferry, etc.)
