Front Desk Staff

Role Description   This is a full-time, on-site Front Desk Staff role based in Tekit, YUC. The Front Desk Staff is responsible for greeting guests, managing check-in and check-out processes, and providing prompt, courteous assistance throughout each guest’s stay. Daily tasks include answering and directing phone calls, responding to in-person and online inquiries, scheduling appointments or reservations, and maintaining accurate guest records.

The role also involves handling payments, preparing basic reports, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, and ensuring the front desk area is organized and welcoming. The Front Desk Staff is expected to uphold Destino Mio’s service standards, resolve guest concerns efficiently, and support a positive, inclusive environment for all guests and team members.
Qualifications

Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle guest requests and concerns professionally and courteously.
Proficiency in receptionist duties, including check-in/check-out processes, appointment or reservation scheduling, and front desk organization.
Excellent phone etiquette and clear, professional communication skills in person, by phone, and in writing.
Basic computer literacy, including comfort with email, reservation or property management systems, and standard office software.
Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required.
Fluency in Spanish required; basic English or additional languages are a plus.
