Position: PMS Manager
We are looking for an experienced and strategic PMS Manager to join our Technology Solutions team. This role is responsible for ensuring the performance, stability, security, and continuous improvement of PMS-related systems, including PMS, POS, SPA, and S&C platforms, as well as their integrations, supporting efficient hotel operations across our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure optimal performance of PMS, POS, SPA, and S&C systems through continuous monitoring and operational audits.
- Audit IT operational practices to ensure compliance with quality and security standards.
- Lead system testing, implementation, and documentation for updates, integrations, and IT projects.
- Act as the main point of contact with system vendors, ensuring issues and requirements are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with IT best practices.
- Support the PMO during project initiation and planning phases, providing technical guidance and operational support.
- Ensure smooth transition of projects from development teams to production and operational teams.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce system installation, configuration, and operational procedures.
- Contribute to the definition and maintenance of system standards and documentation.
- Provide Tier II support and troubleshoot complex system issues reported by users.
- Deliver technical training and guidance to end-users.
- Perform daily system monitoring, reviewing logs, integrations, availability, and key operational processes.
- Review system configurations and propose improvements to align with operational needs.
- Participate in special IT projects as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an IT Administrator or Manager within the hospitality industry.
- Proven experience working with multiple PMS platforms.
- Strong English and Spanish communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid understanding of hospitality business processes and hotel operations.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to urgent operational incidents.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with SAP solutions (TMS, TMSforPOS).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field..
