Junior Data Scientist

Location: Ciudad Nezahualcoyotl

Mandate of the role    Strengthen business performance by transforming data and insights into measurable business growth through advanced analytics, predictive modeling, machine learning, and data-driven personalization that enable proactive decision-making and enhance business performance across the company.

Role responsibilitie
Develop and optimize predictive models to quantify the impact of merchandising, supply chain, customer, loyalty, and omnichannel marketing initiatives
Translate advanced modeling and ML outputs into actionable insights that guide business decisions and strategies
Build and operationalize Python/R models and simulations that support scenario planning, optimization, and strategic decisions
Ensure data quality and pipeline integrity across business domains and deliver data-driven recommendations
Collaborate with business teams to design personalized targeting, segmentation, and experimentation

Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
1–3 years of experience in data analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning
Experience coding in Python or R, with familiarity in version control
Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with PySpark, with exposure to cloud environments like Azure
Advanced English Proficiency (C1)
Solid data storytelling and communication skills
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
Knowledge of customer analytics, loyalty programs, and marketing measurement
