Description
Southern Air Mechanical is hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems across the DFW-south corridor. You'll run your own truck, own the customer relationship from the driveway to the handshake, and deliver a 5-star experience on every call — backed by a company that supplies the trucks, the tools, and the training to keep you sharp.

Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, and related controls
Perform preventative maintenance and system tune-ups to manufacturer and code standards
Clearly explain findings, options, and pricing to homeowners and present repair or replacement recommendations
Identify and communicate replacement opportunities to the Comfort Advisor team
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle
Accurately complete all required job documentation and invoicing in the field
Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled

Requirements

Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on residential HVAC service and diagnostic experience
EPA 608 certification required
TDLR ACR Technician Registration required, or the ability to obtain
Strong diagnostic ability and comfort running calls independently
Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and tight areas in varying temperatures, and lift 50 lbs or more
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
