- POSITION PURPOSE   The Sales Specialist is responsible for receiving, managing, and closing sales leads while representing El Ganzo's brand, culture, and lifestyle with confidence and style. This role focuses on direct sales execution, CRM ownership, and revenue generation across rooms, dining outlets, spa, and events, ensuring a seamless and personalized guest journey.
This position is ideal for a strong closer with excellent presence, perfect English, and a passion for boutique hospitality who is ready to own and lead the sales function operationally.

- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Receive, qualify, follow up, and close all incoming sales leads (rooms, groups, events, buyouts).
Manage and fully own the CRM system, ensuring accurate lead tracking, pipeline management, and reporting.
Lead the day-to-day sales operation, ensuring response times, follow-ups, and responsible for coordinating and assigning responsibilities across the department, leading and developing sales and reservation teams, and owning departmental results, including performance outcomes and achievement of established budgets, conversions meet brand standards.
Generate revenue through cross-selling rooms, restaurants, spa experiences, and events.
Prepare customized proposals, contracts, and rate agreements aligned with El Ganzo's positioning.
Coordinate with Reservations, Operations, Revenue, and Marketing to ensure flawless execution.
Actively seek new business opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, and relationship building.
Maintain excellent personal image and brand-aligned communication at all times.
Track performance, conversion rates, and sales KPIs, reporting results to management.
Communicate in a professional and timely manner with guests in ways that stimulate return visits or referrals to new guests.
Research current market trends, determine inventory requirements, analyze inventory levels, and ensure hotel services meet customer needs.
To create promotions to attract consumers.
Plans and directs sales force activities in order to maximize profits.
Develop and maintain a list of vendors that can provide different services.
Creates individual contracts for each client, then turn those contracts over to a client services representative who works with the client from that point on to fulfill the contract.
Keeps in close touch with client services representatives and accounting staff to make sure all aspects of a contract are fulfilled and in ways that provide the maximum profit margin.
Creates the marketing budget for the Sales Department.
With the support of the Marketing Director, review and select individual advertising, social media, public relations, and promotion options.
Maintain and promote a teamwork environment with effective and clear communication amongst co-workers.
Ensures the best client service is being made available through communication amongst the team, cross-training within the department, and appropriate office coverage.
Works with the sales, front desk, and reservations departments to ensure an understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy for the segment.
Works with the management team to create and implement a sales plan addressing revenue, customers, and the market for the segment.
Ensure El Ganzo meets or exceeds budgeted goals.
Follow and track company cross-sells procedures between all Kundavi entities.
Utilize the company profile database to determine geographic areas for travel agent calls while maintaining the top and existing travel agent accounts.
Organize travel agent month and travel agent appreciation rates for slow months.
Assists with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external.
Creating a focus on attracting new business.
Attending and contributing to the sales & revenue strategy meetings.
Holds a post-event review with business clients to make sure they were happy with their service and functions.
Updating and owning the sales strategy & sales plan with the Managing Director.
Provides positive and aggressive leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential.
