We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Science Teacher, to join our ambitious Upper School team. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 2 to 3 and play a key role in preparing students for KS4 and beyond. We welcome applications from experienced Science teachers with strong subject knowledge across multiple sciences. Depending on the successful candidate’s strengths, there may be an opportunity to teach at IGCSE level.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a proposed September 2026 start date.

• Deliver engaging and rigorous Science lessons to students across Key Stages 2-3.
• Prepare students thoroughly for Key Stage 4, incorporating practical work, theoretical understanding, and application-based learning.
• Support interdisciplinary initiatives and help foster a strong culture of scientific enquiry across the school.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Science Faculty and across other departments to promote STEAM projects and academic excellence.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management, academic challenge, and student wellbeing.
• Make effective use of school laboratories and specialist resources to deliver hands-on learning experiences.
• Contribute to the development of the faculty’s curriculum, schemes of work, and assessment strategies.

Qualifications and Experience

• A relevant degree.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Experience teaching Science at IGCSE would be beneficial.
