The Role
As our Scientific Communication Manager
, you will support the communication and dissemination activities of European research and innovation projects.
Your background knowledge in areas such as nature based solutions, soil health, sustainable agriculture, rural community dynamics and/or social drivers for change will contribute to SAE's mission to unlock regenerative food systems. You will work closely with researchers, project managers, and international partners to translate complex scientific work into clear, accurate, and accessible content, fully aligned with EU requirements.
What you’ll do
- Support and coordinate communication and dissemination activities within EU-funded projects (Horizon Europe and related programmes).
- Translate scientific and technical content into clear narratives for different audiences (project partners, stakeholders, policymakers, practitioners, and the general public).
- Contribute to the preparation of communication plans, dissemination strategies, and project deliverables.
- Produce and coordinate content such as:
Website and newsletter texts, project updates and news items, social media content, briefs, factsheets, and presentation materials. - Ensure alignment with EU visibility, branding, and dissemination requirements.
About You
We are looking for a versatile communicator with a solid scientific mindset and a strong sense of responsibility for clarity and accuracy.
- Experience working in research, academia, or EU-funded projects
, as a researcher, science communicator, or project support professional. - Strong background experience in any topic generally covered by Horizon's Cluster 6.
- The ability to understand scientific content and ask the right questions to researchers.
- Strong writing skills
, with attention to structure, precision, and consistency. - Comfort working with multiple partners, evolving project contexts, and parallel deadlines.
- Full professional proficiency in both English and Spanish (mandatory).
