What the Role Delivers

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Regulatory Manager specialized in fungicides/food additive registrations to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the global regulatory affairs related to the development, approval, and maintenance of our SO2 products. The Global Regulatory Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including R&D, Regional regulatory managers, suppliers, legal and government authorities, to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met across international markets.

Responsibilities
In order of relative importance

Develop global regulatory strategy:

• Support the development of new SO2 products by building registration strategies for the targeted markets with the support of regional regulatory managers and consultants.
• Assess cost and timing for the development of the core data package.
• Coordinate and monitor product/active ingredient studies with CROs.
• Lead and manage the regulatory submission process, including preparing and reviewing regulatory dossiers, managing timelines, and ensuring approval in key global markets.
• Participate in key agency meetings in support of regional regulatory managers.
• Build annual budget for the regulatory SO2 projects.

Asset management:

• Work with operations on the sourcing of active ingredients.
• Discuss regulatory activities with SO2 active ingredient suppliers.
• Stay up to date on global regulatory changes impacting Agro Fresh products and competitors
• Assess food trade possibilities and way to improve them (MRLs, Its)

Regulatory advocacy:

• Act as a key point of contact with regulatory agencies (e.g., EPA, EFSA, etc.), industry groups, and other stakeholders to ensure positive relationships and promote favorable regulatory outcomes.

Global Database:

• Ensure accurate record keeping on product and active ingredient studies in Agro Fresh database

What the Job Requires

• Advanced degree in a related technical area (Toxicology, Residue Chemistry, etc.)
• 5-7 years of prior Ag regulatory experience. Master’s degree required. Ph.D. preferred.
