Paterna Headquarters Cost Estimation Engineer

The Analysis and Costing Department is currently recruiting a Cost Estimation Engineer:

Your primary role will be to prepare cost estimates for tooling and products related to stamping, welding, assembly, and logistics processes, thereby facilitating the preparation of commercial bids and decision-making.

• Define the stamping production process (machine type, manufacturing averages, and number of operators).
• Define and evaluate the welding/assembly production process and costs using estimation templates (machine type, manufacturing averages, and number of operators).
• Economically evaluate the cost of raw materials (using standard tables or direct contact with purchasing).
• Define packaging to assess packaging and shipping costs for parts (based on standard tables).
• Define manufacturing and shipping locations with cost analysis comparisons.
• Assess the initial feasibility of stamping, welding, and assembly processes.

To evaluate your application

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent university degree.
• Good command of English (required);
  German is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Knowledge of 3D software
• Knowledge or additional training in manufacturing, stamping, and welding methods and processes is a plus, as is additional training in reading blueprints.
