About the Role
Our client, an innovative architectural firm committed to sustainable development, is actively seeking a dedicated Arquitecto de Proyectos de Edificación Sustentable to join their practice in Puebla, Puebla. This role is crucial for developing and implementing environmentally conscious architectural designs for a range of building typologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of green building principles, materials, and technologies, and be passionate about creating spaces that minimize environmental impact.

You will be responsible for integrating sustainable strategies throughout the design and construction process, from conceptualization to project completion. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of sustainable building projects, ensuring compliance with green building standards (e.g., LEED, EDGE).
Integrate passive design strategies, renewable energy systems, and water conservation techniques into architectural designs.
Conduct life-cycle assessments and environmental impact studies for proposed projects.
Collaborate with clients, engineers, and consultants to define sustainability goals and strategies for each project.
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for sustainable building components.
Oversee the construction phase to ensure sustainable practices and materials are correctly implemented in Puebla.
Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in sustainable architecture and construction.
Mentor junior architects and designers on principles of sustainable design.
Contribute to the firm's reputation as a leader in sustainable architectural practices. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in architectural design, with a significant focus on sustainable building projects.
Proven knowledge of sustainable design principles, materials, and systems.

Experience with green building certification processes (e.g., LEED Green Associate or similar).
Proficiency in architectural design software (Auto CAD, Revit) and familiarity with energy modeling tools.
Strong understanding of construction practices and building codes in Mexico.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Passion for environmental stewardship and sustainable development.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment in Puebla.
