Jr Project Manager

Position Overview:

The Junior Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of small to medium customer-facing IT engagements. This role works closely with Project Managers, Service Managers, and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high customer satisfaction.
This is an individual contributor role focused on coordination, tracking, and communication.

Position Responsibilities:

Support the coordination and delivery of multiple small to medium customer-facing IT service engagements under the guidance of a Project Manager or Service/Delivery Manager.
Translate project and service priorities into day-to-day operational activities, ensuring alignment between stakeholders, timelines, resources, and internal processes.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients on operational and coordination topics, ensuring clear communication and a positive service experience throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders to understand service needs, priorities, and expectations.
Receive, review, and track service requests and project tasks, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment with defined scope and service level agreements (SLAs).
Coordinate with resource managers and technical leads to support resource assignment, scheduling, and capacity planning.
Track project and service delivery progress, including tasks, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and schedule adherence.
Prepare, maintain, and distribute weekly project and service status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Support internal and external project kick-off meetings, weekly status meetings, and operational review calls.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project and service records in the PSA, CRM, or service management tools, including schedules, status notes, and documentation.
Monitor basic service performance metrics, KPIs, and trends related to delivery, utilization, and client satisfaction, escalating risks or concerns as needed.
Assist with project billing milestones by ensuring required notifications and documentation are provided to accounting teams.
Support project and service close-out activities, including documentation, lessons learned, customer surveys, and administrative closeout in systems.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and better coordination within service delivery operations.
Job Qualification

Position Requirements /

Qualifications:

Basic Technical Knowledge in the Areas of IT Infrastructure, Network / Security and Next Generation Data Center

Experience with multi-site deployment (staging, remote hands, structure cabling) projects

Experience with Agile Methodology on Software Development Projects (preferred)
Strong Verbal and Written Communication to Technical and Non-technical Individuals
Excellent Attention to Detail
Exceptional Administrative, Organizational, and Time Management/Prioritization Skills
Strong Issue and Problem-Solving Skills
Customer Service Mindset (Internal and External)
Open Air, Smartsheet, and Jira Experience (preferred)
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
