- Initiate the selection process for the recruitment of 1 Senior Laboratory Technician under an employment contract and in accordance with the criteria, requirements and selection process
Three people are needed to carry out whole genome sequencing studies and variant confirmation.
Specific RequirementsIn the case of qualifications obtained abroad, their equivalence must be requested from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.

- Full-time: 35 hours
- Remuneration: €1,588.08 gross per month, including the proportional part of two extraordinary payments.

Curriculum assessment of merits and abilities (0-60 points)

-WORK EXPERIENCE and/or KNOWLEDGE in the field: (Maximum 60 points)
- Experience in whole genome sequencing: 0-45 points
- Experience in digital PCR, capillary electrophoresis: 0-15 points
Candidates with a certified disability of 33% or more will have their final score increased by 2 points
Competency-based interview: (0-40 points). In this phase, candidates will present the information contained in their CV and supporting documentation, with particular emphasis on aspects such as: adaptability, proactivity, teamwork, analytical skills, planning, organisation and results‑oriented approach, as well as knowledge of the functioning of the IIS and the job to be performed.
Selection processThe selection process will consist of two phases:
Once the application process has been completed, the following actions will be published on the IBSAL website:
- Publication of the provisional decision on the list of persons admitted and not admitted according to minimum requirements, with a period of 5 working days for the submission of appeals.
- Publication of the provisional decision on the assessment, with a period of 5 working days for the submission of appeals.
- Publication of the final decision on the admission and exclusion of candidates, with the list of those admitted.
- Publication of the final decision on the assessment and the minutes of the award of places.
