TEICON ENGINEERING is currently recruiting for a Site Preservation Manager (m/f/d) — either on a fixed-term contract or as a freelance consultant.

YOUR PROJECT ASSIGNMENT

TEICON ENGINEERING invites you to join an ambitious project in Tarragona, where we're constructing a state-of-the-art facility for the production of industrial gases. This role is your chance to lead efforts on a massive project involving superstructures for methane and ethylene production, set to be transported to the United States.

  Fixed-term employment or freelance contract
• Duration:
  Minimum 12 months, with possibility of extension
• Workload: 56 hours per week, 6 days per week

• Lead and implement the site preservation management strategy across all project phases.
• Ensure compliance with preservation procedures, project specifications, and statutory requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate the Preservation Management team and interface with internal and external stakeholders (Construction, Commissioning, Quality, Contractors).
• Oversee field inspections, audits, and preservation documentation to maintain equipment integrity.
• Review and approve preservation procedures, reports, and status updates in line with project and client standards.
• Ensure the readiness of critical and long-lead items for commissioning and long-term reliability.
• Promote a strong HSE culture within all preservation activities on site.

• Degree in engineering, industrial plant construction or related technical field.
• Several years of relevant experience in Preservation Management or related disciplines (e.g., commissioning, quality management, site engineering).
• Solid understanding of equipment preservation practices and construction workflows.
• Leadership skills with experience managing multicultural, interdisciplinary site teams.
• Familiarity with digital preservation tools and systems (e.g., CMS preservation modules).
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
