SUMMARY
This Engineer Senior position plays a key role in supporting business growth by developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for complex customer projects. This position requires advanced knowledge of contract manufacturing processes, materials, and production methods, along with strong analytical skills to ensure quotes align with customer requirements and company profitability objectives. The role also involves guiding junior quoting engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to continuous improvement in quoting strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manage high complexity quoting projects and their quote development process. May run multiple projects at one time.

Define strategic quoting scope (high complexity) and align with organizational objectives.

Internally monitors the day-to-day activities of all quoting projects and supervise cross-functional collaboration and resolve critical issues.

Lead pricing strategy structure in collaboration with management as required.

Coordinates review sessions on pricing strategies with internal customers based on requested quotes.

Contribute to good documentation practices, ensuring that quote proposals and approvals are documented and up to date.

Update quote status for proposals in process in quoting database.

Develop and optimize procedures for efficient quotation management.

Manage and implement effective communication systems for decision-making.

Lead improvement projects and innovation initiatives.

Maintain quote revisions control if a quote is changed, including notes or considerations.

Supports all programs and initiatives related to the Code of Ethics, Jabil Values ​​and sustainability programs.

Supports all programs and initiatives of Safety and Hygiene and Quality Systems of the company. Understands and implements the Quality politics.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years of experience in similar positions

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or similar field

Previous exposure to Bid-to-Bid (B2B) environments is desirable

English proficiency greater than 90% (spoken, written, and reading)

Demonstrated ability to lead projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams

Solid experience with manufacturing processes (ultrasonic machines, RF, sterile barrier packaging, plastic component unions, mechanical assemblies)

Advanced interpretation of 2D/3D drawings

Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and effective decision-making

Intermediate negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Familiarity with regulatory standards (FDA, ISO) and basic understanding of compliance requirements

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project); exposure to Access is a plus

Problem-solving mindset with ability to analyze quoting scenarios and recommend solutions

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy

Financial and mathematical knowledge applied to pricing and cost analysis; basic understanding of profitability management
